Last night I turned on American Idol and it was their "Idol Gives Back" special. I thought, "Great! Just in time to pay taxes." So, I called1 800 IDOL AID and instead of giving they actually asked ME for my credit card number! I don't get it, what are they giving away?

I think maybe you should have explained to them a little more about your situation. I mean you sound well educated on the phone so maybe they thought you were calling to give them money. If they really knew you they would understand that you are the type of people living in poverty that really need their help!
