AMO A MEXICO

Andy and I really need a child, so that you all don't have to constantly see photos of the two of us!

Here we are posing at one of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Penasco! Thank goodness I changed my pics to Sepia, so all the junk on the beach looks like I strategically placed props for a photo shoot. As long as I am far away from 115 degree heat, I will take Mexico beaches any day. Posted by Picasa

PAPER DOLL CANIDATES!

How funny are these? I am so excited to print these off and make them, but what do I do when they are finished? I know, who wants to come over and play "Puppet Canidates" with me? http://www.folduscandidate.com/

ARE THESE MALE MODELS?

Jake and Brian (above) stopped by Last Chance on Friday and in their findings, found some stylish athletic apparel (also seen above). They were so excited about their findings they decided to buy an outfit for my husband (see designer fuchsia belly shirt and sunbeam yellow booty shorts doing the captain morgan pose). Thanks to Brian and Jake, I can't get my husband to stop wearing the designer belly shirt.

STYLISH SPACES

I have a whole file folder full of stylish spaces that I love. Usually after a year, I have deleted all of them because I no longer think the spaces are stylish, these are a few of my current favorites.

Mix dressing ingredients in blender and store in the refrigerator overnight. Before serving, pulse dressing and pour into bottle. The dressing should be added right before serving, so the spinach does not wilt. Enjoy!

BILLY AND JOY

This weekend, I was taking pictures of Joy and as we went down the steps to the trampoline we spotted Billy, (who lives next door) he was playing with his brother on the sport court. When he saw Joy, he got so excited for another playmate. Joy was immediately reluctant and pushed herself into the corner of the trampoline. As I watched them, I noticed Billy was inching closer to Joy, I thought she might come closer to me, but she didn't. Instead she started talking to Billy, but Billy would not talk back. She was persistently trying to get him to say something, finally she asked me why Billy wasn't talking. I didn't want to tell her that Billy was handicap, so instead I told her it was because he was special. She seemed content with the answer.
The next morning, I overheard her mother tell her to eat all her cereal. Joy asked why she had to eat it earlier than everyone and she said "because your special" Joy responded "no I'm not, I can talk". I probably should have used a different word.

ODE TO SYLVIA

My friend Sylvia (grey dress) is moving back to Texas. Apparently there are less than 2,000 people that live in her small town and when asking her where I would stay (if I was to come visit) she responded "gosh, I don't know there isn't a hotel in my town, but 30 miles away there is a town with a hotel, so I guess there". Wow, I thought I was from a small town...hopefully she visits us. I think she'll be back soon, she has lived in with luxury for so long, I have know idea what she is going to do without Nieman or Nordstrom.
