NO BABY TODAY

Today I went to the hospital so ready to have this baby. The nurses hooked up my IV, asked me millions of questions, took my vitals and dressed Andy in his OR attire. We were so excited. Right before they took us into the OR they did a quick ultrasound to make sure the baby was still breech and sure enough little L had moved into the correct position. I was a little bummed for a few minutes but I'm glad that I will have a quicker recovery time and I don't have to deal with the scar.

Hopefully she comes soon! I'm hoping for a July baby.

Plus, even though it hurts like HELL, I am glad you will actually get to experience childbirth. Our bodies are amazing; there is nothing that beats being able to experience what our bodies can do.

I have experienced both ways and naturally is the way to go...c-sections take too long to recover from.

I am so excited for you. Babies are the best thing this world has to offer. Such a magical experience to bring the Lord's spirits to this earth.

This works out better for me. Now I have time to get over this strep throat and be there to catch Baby Lauren when she comes! Keep me posted!

Hurts like Hell? Adrienne, you must not have had an epidural.

I'm glad you don't have to get the C-section, but talk about disappointment - going in there, getting poked and prodded and all prepared and expecting your baby will come and...nothing - you get sent home. That's really strange that they didn't do the ultrasound BEFORE all of that.

I'm hoping for a July baby too. I know, I know - I'm not due until the END of August - still, I'm 33, huge and completely miserable, so I'll take the baby now, please.

Oh my gosh...what a huge bummer and even bigger relief at the same time. I am sure it was mixed emotions. You will be so glad you didn't have to endure a C-section, but going to the hospital expecting to leave with a baby and then leaving pregnant is a doozy for a pregnant mom. Hopefully she comes quickly in her own time..hang in there.

I had no idea you changed your blog name until I got your comment. I had been wondering why your old blog was blank. I'm all caught up now and excited to see when baby L decides to join us. Let me know if there's anything I can do. Her room turned out beautiful. Great job on the pillows.

I am SO happy your little baby slipped around... It is better for both of you to follow the natural path. You will do great! Just breathe and save a little energy for PUSHING!!! Praying for you all, Aloha J"net
