I love finding party planning ideas.
Here are a few that some of my favorite bloggers have posted.

Look what I found! This should eliminate any possible fights. Check them out HERE.

Look what Andy got me for Mothers Day.
Isn't he the best? I'll answer that one for you; he is. Thank you Andy for my lovely new Michael Kors watch.

I LOVE CHEAP VENDORS

Andy and I were talking about the price of business cards last night. He was telling me how much he could get some business cards and I was astonished at the price. I told him I could get 500 business cards for around $40.00 w/ vistaprint.com. I figured if he was paying to much there are propably a lot of people out there paying to much.

A couple of years ago myself and a few others started a business. We had a shoestring budget to work with so price shopping for vendors was a must. If you are looking to start a small business, cut costs for your current business or know of someone who is starting one here is a list of quality cheap vendors.

I'm having my crib bedding made right now and I purchased a little extra fabric to have some pillows made up (you can't really tell from the picture but the fabric is a combination of vintage flea market hankies).
Yesterday, the company making my bedding called and said my fabric had arrived. I was so excited to go pick it up yesterday; isn't it so darling? The fabric is a

Does anyone know a cheap seamstress? I need hire someone to make these pillows.

My mother in- law gave me an easy burrito recipe last week that I was dying to try but the recipe makes 30 burritos. I decided to make the burrito's up and have a party. My friends were totally excited and each brought something to add. The party was a complete success. Thank you Brian for your delicious tacos, the salsa that brought me to tears and the rediculous pinata that I made you go searching for! Thank you Josh for your homemade macayo chimichangas that I couldn't stop inhaling.Thank you Camille for the frozen daiquiries and last thanks Beka for bringing the chips! You guys are awesome.
Here is the burrito recipe, just in case any of you girls want throw a little Mexican Fiesta.

2 cans of refried beans
2 cans of diced green chiles
1 can of beef gravy
1 onion
Heat all of that up and set aside.
Buy 1bag of costco un-cooked tortillas and fry up 30 tortillas.
Now start making the burritos adding a little of your mix and a sprinkle of cheese.

I have been a little worried about how I'm going to put together Little L's room. I really want it to be perfect and I still can't in vision it. A friend recommended the book "flea market Baby", I'm hoping this will help me with some of my dilemmas.

This weekend Andy and I celebrated our THIRD Anniversary. We stayed at the InterContinental Montelucia Resort in Paradise Valley. The resort was so amazing! The resort had a 30,000 sq ft spa that we fully took advantage of, our room had the best shower and large spa tub and the pools had great seating and service. We both said several times..."this is the life".

I think this documentary will be really interesting.

I'm currently obsessing over white watches. Which one should I pick?

I love Layers new homepage!

I have been a loyal Frances Vintage consumer for the past 3 years; so loyal that I made their top ten list. Frances Vintage is the best boutique in town (maybe I'm a little biased) but if any of you get out to the Phoenix Central Corridor area make sure to stop by.

I was at Melrose Vintage the other day and found this cute vintage baby scale; I had to have it. I think this scale will be a nice addition to Little L's room, if not it will make a great photo prop.

CALENDAR GIRL

I made a Cooper family birthday calendar last year and have decided that this year I will make sure the pictures correlate with the months. After reviewing all the easter photos I decided little A will be my April calendar girl. I loved seeing all my little nieces in their easter dresses, they all looked so adorable.

My Mom flew to AZ and spent a few days with me last week. We spent endless hours looking at baby clothes, buying crib bedding and browsing local boutiques. I was so happy to have her here. Thanks for making the trip Mom.

I just bought these two adorable prints for my little L's room on etsy.  Belle and Boo's
prints are all so precious...I'm in love.

I had to post these pictures; these girls are so adorable. The first photo is of my friend Camille's little girl who by the way is in love with Sparky. Every time Sparky walked by she would call out his name so her dad took her down to get a photo with him, she was in heaven.

The next photo is of my friends little girls. They came over one evening and kept asking me if I had any toys, I don't really have anything for little kids to play with so they asked for the next best thing; my clothes. They all had a pair of high heels, a hat, scarf and purse.

NEW BLOG ADDRESS

http://www.myfamilybegins.blogspot.com/

I had initially started this blog for James to follow the poulsen family while he was away, but if you have followed the blog you'll notice I was the only one posting. Please update the new blog address as the you will no longer be able to access poulsenfamilyblog.

Yesterday afternoon I felt little Lauren kick. This being my first pregnancy I was pretty excited. I sat for the next 10 minutes in my chair at work feeling her little kicks. I can't wait for her to grow up a little so she can come out and play with me.

P.S. I stole this photo from google images. Question; do you ever really see the foot that clear?
My next 30 Years

Last week Andy turned 30 and since you only turn 30 once, I wanted this birthday to be special. Saturday night I blindfolded him drove around the block a few times trying to confuse him (he kept on asking me why we were driving in circles, maybe I should've got more creative) and then brought him back to our condo where friends and family waited to surprise him; we all had so much fun thanks again to all of you that showed up.

I've been looking for art to frame and hang in a childrens room, I have quite a collection so far; these prints are adorable.

I love these posters I found on etsy ! They would look great framed in a childs room.

To my cute and adorable sweetheart,

I'm sorry for the lack of attention I have been giving you. Mr. Hormone stepped into my life a few months ago and has had all my attention. I promise to be my normal self in 6 months try to hang in there.

Love,
Your crazy out of control wife
My Current Obsessions

I love fresh orange juice; right now I'm obsessed with it.

I'm not a fan of a lot of L'Occitane's scents but I love their Verbana conditioner, body wash etc...!

Best hand soap ever! Try their Lemon Verbana, you will fall in love.

I can't stop eating fruit! Watermelon, blueberries, pineapple; you name it I eat it.
This past month has been a whirlwind of events and completely blog worthy, so I'm going to catch every one up whether you want to hear it or not.

First there was London

How I loved hearing that British accent for 4 days! London had so many great sites but there was no possible way to fit it into four days but we made it to the major attractions; took walks in Hyde Park and watched the New Year's fireworks display from Buckingham Palace et al.

Then there was Paris

I was really worried about not knowing any French, but we really lucked out; almost everyone we came into contact with spoke English and everyone in France was so gracious and kind. Paris was such a wonderful city with so much beautiful architecture and class, I really want to go back...but in the spring, winter is too cold.

Then there was Rome

Rome's history is so amazing. I learned more about that city than any of the others. One of the days there, we rented a car and went to a Spurlonga a small beach town a couple of hours from Rome. The city reminded me of Under the Tuscan Sun. We sat in a little cafe laughing and talking while eating some delicious gelato; best gelato I have ever had.

Last I'm having a...
...and I'm 11 weeks!
